Making an Appointment

With over 30 physicians devoted to the care of your child -- each an expert in one or more areas of pediatric cancers -- Memorial Sloan-Kettering offers care that is unequaled in depth of experience and skill in the treatment of cancer affecting children, teenagers, and young adults. Pediatric oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other sub-specialists work together to maximize each patient's chance of a cure.

  • Our Approach to Pediatric Cancer Care
The unique multidisciplinary approach at Memorial Sloan-Kettering offers children and young adults with cancer the best opportunity for accurate diagnosis and the most effective treatment available, emphasizing treatments that target and cure cancer and return children to a normal life.
  • Our Teams of Experts
Our Pediatric Disease Management Team includes more than 30 full-time pediatric physicians -- oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and ophthalmologists -- plus nurses, social workers, genetic counselors, and other sub-specialists, all working together to maximize your child's chance of cure.
  • Patient Care Facilities
In 1969, we opened the world's first Pediatric Day Hospital. If a child requires hospitalization for surgery or treatment, he or she will be admitted to the new Pediatric Unit, opened in late 2003.
  • Pediatric Care Team Roles
Our team model ensures that all aspects of your child's care are addressed.
